My name is Karen. I created Perry Soaps during COVID in 2020. My vision was to create a product that would gently cleanse your skin without leaving it feeling dry and flaky and in need of lotion. After many trials, I tested my soap recipe on family and friends. I source my products from many suppliers so that I can bring you the best soap that I possibly can. I believe your bathing experience can be luxurious and something to look forward to every single day. I also want my soaps to be not only nourishing for your skin, but visually appealing -  something you want seen in your bathroom! I encourage you to give handmade soap a try. You will never go back to commercial soap.

 

My soaps are created in small batches in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I source my fragrances from suppliers that adhere to strict safety guidelines and follow IFRA guidelines as well (International Fragrance Regulation Association). I do not use fragrances that contain phthalates, toxins or other harmful ingredients. My soaps are created “from scratch” with lye (sodium hydroxide). This is the only way to create soap – with lye. In other words, I do not use a melt and pour soap base and add ingredients to a melted down base. The only way to create soap is with lye – any other product is not soap. Soap is created by combining oils and fats with lye – it will go through a process called saponification. There is no remaining lye in the soap after saponification.

Due to the nature of my products, I can not accept returns. But if you have an issue with a product, please contact me immediately so I can rectify it. If you contact me 10 after receiving your order, I can not issue a refund.
